"Crysis has stopped working" Fix
There are many factors that can contribute towards game crashes. This list is not meant as a "fix-all". I am just listing what has caused my game to stop crashing.
Issue
Crysis shows a blank/black screen when I run the game and the error message "Crysis has stopped working".
Possible solutions
- If you have a 64-Bit processor, make sure that you are running "Crysis.exe" and not "Crysis64.exe".
- Update your video drivers to the latest version:

Hi,
I have this problem:
I have the original DVD of Crysis.I install the game,then I install the patch 1.2 and then the patch 1.2.1.
It works but when I try to play in multiplayer it says:Version missmatch.So I've downloaded a Hotfix.After installing this hotfix when I'm trying to launch the game (with any .exe possible (NO CD/DVD crack) I get a black screen.Im not able to play Crysis anymore.Believe me or not all this happened to me 2 times today.Im sorry but it really piss me off.I'm about to uninstall the game again right now.With my 2 patches it will take 2 houres.HUHHH!!!loll.I'm sick!!
BUT I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!
